Stubmatic is operated by FiveW Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is at Wesley Clover Innovation Centre, Chepstow Road, Newport, NP18 2YB, United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using the Stubmatic platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
"We", "us", "our" refers to FiveW Technology Ltd and the Stubmatic platform.
"You", "Organiser" refers to the individual or business registering for and using the Service.
"Ticket Buyer" refers to any person purchasing tickets through an event page hosted on Stubmatic.
"Event" refers to any event created and published by an Organiser on the platform.
To use Stubmatic as an Organiser, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You must be at least 18 years of age to register.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or harmful behaviour.
Stubmatic provides a ticketing platform that enables Organisers to create events, sell tickets, and manage bookings. We provide the technology infrastructure; we are not a party to the contract between you as an Organiser and your Ticket Buyers.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we take all reasonable steps to maintain availability and reliability.
Ticket payments are processed via Stripe or PayPal. By connecting a payment account, you agree to the relevant payment processor's terms of service. Stubmatic does not hold or process ticket sale funds directly — payments are made directly to your connected payment account.
Stubmatic charges a platform subscription fee in accordance with your chosen plan. Booking fees charged to Ticket Buyers are set by you as the Organiser. You are responsible for ensuring your fee structure complies with applicable consumer protection laws.
All subscription fees are exclusive of VAT or applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for accounting for any taxes arising from ticket sales in your jurisdiction.
As an Organiser, you are solely responsible for:
You agree not to use Stubmatic to sell tickets for events that are illegal, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful.
Refund and cancellation policies are set by you as the Organiser. You are responsible for processing any refunds directly through your payment processor. Stubmatic is not responsible for refund disputes between Organisers and Ticket Buyers.
If an event is cancelled, you are responsible for notifying Ticket Buyers promptly and processing refunds in accordance with your stated policy and applicable consumer law.
All intellectual property rights in the Stubmatic platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content created by us, remain the property of FiveW Technology Ltd.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the platform, including event descriptions and images. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and reproduce that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You must not upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
As an Organiser, you are a data controller in respect of your Ticket Buyers' personal data. You are responsible for handling that data lawfully and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FiveW Technology Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account with reasonable notice if you breach these Terms, or immediately if we believe there is a risk of fraud or harm to Ticket Buyers.
Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease. You remain responsible for any obligations to Ticket Buyers arising from events sold prior to termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in your account. Continued use of the Service following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are located outside England and Wales, you may also have rights under the laws of your own jurisdiction that we are required to respect.
